Before I met Tara, I had probably met close to 10 day of coordinators. I'm a very organized and detailed person (Type A) and I had planned everything about my wedding to the tee. Therefore, it was imperative that I found someone that I could entrust to execute my vision.Within the first few minutes of meeting Tara, I knew I wanted to hire her, not only because of her professional demeanor and "make it happen" attitude but, above all, we clicked and we had the same mindset. During the planning process, Tara was a great resource whenever I had questions. 

She was always available to me via phone, email and text, and her responses were always prompt. 

No question was ever too small or silly to ask. 

On the day of my wedding, Tara did not disappoint. She was organized, handled the vendors and helped my Maitre’d execute the day flawlessly. 

I highly recommend Tara. She is professional, personable, organized and very knowledgeable about 

weddings. Hire Tara and you will not be disappointed. Your day will be flawless.

I am so happy that we choose Dream Makers NY as our day-of-coordinator. Tara is amazing! She helped me and my now-husband create the wedding of our dreams (just a few days ago!). We had already done a significant amount of planning (all the planning was done 50/50, yay for equality in relationships!) before contacting her, including booking vendors, deciding on decorations/theme, etc, and just needed someone to handle the nitty-gritty stuff on the day of. She was fantastic! She never tried to up-sell me on anything and went way above and beyond. She was familiar with our venue (The W Loft), and was quick to point out things that we wouldn't have thought of without her given her knowledge of the venue's quirks even before we booked her. The weeks leading up to the wedding, she was responsive, respectful, professional, and so helpful -- providing suggestions for additional help we may need, help with creating timeline, sending me deals she found online, all that stuff. After our first official meeting at our venue, I felt confident trusting her with our vision of our wedding. On the day of the wedding (which was such a blissful blur!), she was there early to set up the furniture and decor. Everything was set up perfectly! My husband (who was also helping to set up in the morning while I was getting ready) says that he saw Tara handle every detail like a boss, and comments fondly about how her assistant painstakingly arranged flowers in our lanterns and how they tied the twine around our programs *just so*. She managed our parents and us (along with our nerves! haha) without any issues, and then stayed later than she needed to in order to help coordinate the clean-up. She also worked seamlessly with our other vendors. I can not say enough wonderful things about Tara and her assistant. We could not have gotten through this hectic process without her!

Tara and the team at Dream Makers are AMAZING! Tara was our day-of coordinator and we could 

not have done it without her. She went out of her way to make sure our day was completely stress-free: coordinating with all of the vendors, DJ, photographer, etc. and working alongside the venue staff to make sure our guests were comfortable & happy. Also, her knowledge & experience were extremely helpful to us - obviously we've never done this before, so it was great to have someone there to walk us through everything! 

We highly recommend Dream Makers for your event - they are more than just a business - they actually care about your day as much as you do, and they want everything to be perfect!

The best decision I made for my wedding was booking DreamMakers as my DOC. I felt like a ball of anxiety for months leading up to my wedding, often joking of the massive amounts of Xanax I would need to get me through the day. On my wedding day, I woke up feeling ZERO stress. It was very strange for me. I quickly figured out the reason was, that I put all my trust into Raquel who literally took care of everything for me that day so I could actually enjoy it. Anything that came up, Raquel quickly moved in and handled it before I or anyone else could even notice. She made sure we were on time, something that was very important to me. She listened to everything that was important to me and made sure all my other vendors were on the same page. I am so thankful for Raquel and the whole DreamMakers team.

I feel truly lucky to have had Tara by my side as my day-of coordinator for my August 29th Wedding in Manhattan! My groom and I spent a mini fortune on our wedding (don't we all)- complete with many personal elements which I brought in myself (I did my own linens, chargers, candles, escort table arrangements, you name it). I needed assurance that after spending this much, someone would be able to make my personal vision come to life, given that I am so detail-oriented. After speaking with Tara for my consultation, I knew she was the real deal! Tara was highly responsive, patient and understanding of everything I wanted. I may have texted her a hundred times throughout 

the process, and she handled all of my personal inquiries like a pro! At times when I was stressed, confused or just needed a professional opinion, Tara was always honest and logical with me. She was seriously my right hand man throughout the last phase of wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, Tara was all business-she was composed, organized and kept me abreast of any progress with my venue the day-of (as per my request). She texted me pictures as I asked for them, instructed 

vendors to where they needed to be, and even helped me hand out envelopes (which I can't even imagine doing since the day was such a blur for me). She kept us on time, and she was my go-to girl with lining up the bridal party, coordinating my arrival so the groom wouldn't see me etc. She did a million things for me that day! Honestly, I feel that Tara was an absolute blessing to have. I said it over and over throughout the day to my bridesmaids, mother and other vendors-I don't know if I could have done it without Tara. If you are on the fence with spending a little extra money, trust me, after all you pour in for your wedding, having a day-of coordinator puts it ALL TOGETHER for you without a hitch. My day was perfect, largely due to Tara's help. Thank you Tara!!

I chose Dreams Makers to do my day-of wedding coordination, and I am really glad I did! Tara was terrific and extremely professional. Our wedding day was a bit complicated, in terms of locations/logistics, and Tara helped the day come off seamlessly for all our guests - and for us! In 

addition, she decorated our reception with excellent taste and style and created custom menus, signs, programs, etc. that captured the classic, fun style of our wedding. I thought the value for the 

quality of the service we received was very good, and I agree with the reviewer below that flexibility

t's relatively obvious that you need a wedding planner / coordinator if you're getting married in a raw space. But when we booked our wedding at a venue that hosts events daily (i.e., the Central Park Boathouse), we questioned whether we needed any additional help, particularly because we're both organized and had wedding planning under control. Then I heard about the concept of a Day of Coordinator and knew that was exactly what we needed. You 100% do NOT want to be the point of contact for anyone or anything on your own wedding day, and you do NOT want to be the one solving any issues as they arrive (which they will).

Yeah, you could lean on friends or family for help, but do you really want your best friend sitting on the floor arranging flip flops in a basket on your wedding day or your parents helping break down decorations and collect personal items at the end of the night? No! Everybody should be enjoying themselves rather than worrying about tasks they've been assigned!

We spoke to a few different vendors for DOC services and chose Dream Makers as they were direct, their services were clear, there was no BS, and their pricing was very fair. And we are so thankful we did. From the moment we met her, Raquel was so professional, and we knew she'd have everything entirely under control. She acted as a great sounding board in those few weeks leading up to the wedding, flagging logistical details that we hadn't yet thought about. And on the wedding day, she took care of EVERYTHING. When I realized I'd left my veil at the hotel right before the ceremony, Raquel took care of it and before I knew it, my veil had been fetched from across the city. When my bridesmaid's dress strap broke right before she was set to walk down the aisle, Raquel handled it. I truly did not need to think about anything other than enjoying myself on the day. Think of a DOC as insurance for your wedding. It's 100% worth it, and we highly recommend Dream Makers.

Tara at DreamMakers was an absolute life saver!! I needed help putting together all the little details for my summer wedding and she made it all happen! She helped me think through my ideas, decide on what I really wanted to do, getting me great deals , and then she took over and relieved me of the stress! And it's all the pieces Tara worked on that really brought the wedding together. Would absolutely work with Tara again and will certainly recommend her to anyone who needs help with event planning!
